Kate was born in Scotland, studied design in London UK and had a full career as an interior, product and apparel designer and a business woman.

Now living in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, Kate is involved in illustrating children’s books, producing TV shows, developing art in the community and leading art events and workshops for Artsphere Art Group.

In 2019 Kate was awarded “Arts Ambassador of the Comox Valley.”
